A performance artist plans to eat a corgi on British radio today in protest at the royal family's alleged mistreatment of animals.
Mark McGowan, who once ate a swan in a performance art show, will dine on the cooked canine, the Queen's favourite breed of dog.
He says the stunt is to draw attention to an alleged incident earlier this year in which Prince Philip and his friends allegedly shot a fox, let it struggle for life for five minutes, and then beat it to death with a stick.
The RSPCA said the alleged incident at the Queen's Sandringham estate in January was investigated and it "found no evidence that an offence of causing unnecessary suffering had taken place".
The corgi died at a breeding farm.
