Art of Root

"Root sculptures are a joint work of man and nature. Artists are required to make as few adaptations as possible to their plant root art works so as to preserve their natural beauty and form, yet create striking works of art."

Man to eat corgi in royal hunting protest

A performance artist plans to eat a corgi on British radio today in protest at the royal family's alleged mistreatment of animals.

Mark McGowan, who once ate a swan in a performance art show, will dine on the cooked canine, the Queen's favourite breed of dog.

He says the stunt is to draw attention to an alleged incident earlier this year in which Prince Philip and his friends allegedly shot a fox, let it struggle for life for five minutes, and then beat it to death with a stick.

The RSPCA said the alleged incident at the Queen's Sandringham estate in January was investigated and it "found no evidence that an offence of causing unnecessary suffering had taken place".

The corgi died at a breeding farm.
