Schijffilm

Disc film
Ontwikkelde disc film zonder beeldjes erop.

Yet another Instamatic / 126 post. When I bought this camera, there was still a cassette inside with some 7 shots exposed. I processed the film in regular Tetenal Colortec C-41 homebrew. Only one of those turned out OK, colourwise that is; the scene itself is not very inspiring. The remaining shots have a significant colour shift. Who needs Lomochrome Purple? (Ignore that, Purple is still on my wish list.)

Shots 1, 2 and 3 taken in Sint Antonis, Stampt and Overasselt, Netherlands, August 2016. As for number 4, there is no way of telling when, where or why this was taken.

Lambretta
This was the only shot that was salvaged from an old exposed 116 spool that was found in a box with other, unexposed rolls. So, we have no context as to when and where the photo was taken. I was told that this is a Lambretta.

The film was developed by the Vienna LomoLab, and the people there were kind enough to return the vintage wooden spool alongs with the negatives.

Wratten

Description: Louisa Augusta Alberta (WRATTEN) WHITE (1849 - 1921). Mrs. White was the wife of Josiah John WHITE and the sister of Jason and Frederick WRATTEN. "Frederick WRATTEN founded one of the first photographic supply businesses, Wratten and Wainwright in 1878. Wratten and Wainwright manufactured and sold colodion glass plates and gelatin dry plates. In 1878 Wratten invented the 'noodling process' of silver-bromide gelatin emulsions before washing. In 1906 Wratten with the assistance of Dr. C.E. Kenneth Mees (E.C.K. Mees) invented and produced the first panchromatic plates in England. Wratten is best known for the photographic filters that he invented and are still named after him - Wratten Filters. Eastman Kodak purchased his company in 1912."
