This was the only shot that was salvaged from an old exposed 116 spool that was found in a box with other, unexposed rolls. So, we have no context as to when and where the photo was taken. I was told that this is a Lambretta.

The film was developed by the Vienna LomoLab, and the people there were kind enough to return the vintage wooden spool alongs with the negatives.

Kodak Professional T-Max 100, expired 11/1998

Shots taken in Tiel (NL) using a Canon EOS 500 with a Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 lens ('plastic fantastic') and Kodak Professional T-Max 100, expiration date November 1998. The film was shot at ISO 50.

Echo Anastigmat 1:3.5 F=50mm on a Canon EOS 1200D

The Echo Anastigmat 1:3.5 F=50mm (No. 5836) is an obscure lens. Google searches yield very little information but from what I found, I gather this might be an enlarger lens. On the other hand, the lens has its own aperture settings (3.5, 4, 5.6, 8, 11, 16 & 22).

I bought this lens for a few euros at a thrift shop and attached it to an EOS body to see what would happen. The results are interesting.

The last picture shows the lens needs more cleaning than I thought.

Meaning of Anastigmat (Wikipedia):
An anastigmat or anastigmatic lens is a photographic lens completely corrected for spherical aberration, coma, and astigmatism. Early lenses often included the word Anastigmat in their name to advertise this new feature (Doppel-Anastigmat, Voigtländer Anastigmat Skopar, etc.). All modern photographic lenses are close to being anastigmatic.

22 februari 1944

Truusje Wolffers werkte bij mevrouw Struijs-Verhoeven, die in de Houtstraat een naaimachinewinkel had. Op 22 februari 1944 werd het huis verwoest, en het brandde volledig uit. Later bleek dat Truusje, mevrouw Struijs-Verhoeven en haar kleinzoon Gerardje Hendriks zich in de kelder bevonden, en daar waren omgekomen.

Here are some samples from the first roll I shot on the Robot Camera with expired Fujicolor Superia X-TRA 400. Improvement is anticipated. The camera is obviously easy to use once the film is in place, but it makes a heavy blender-like sound when the three lenses are activated, so it's not exactly inconspicuous.

The camera may be difficult to load for some, but here's a detailed how-to.

Uit 1930 daterend urnenmonument van H.G. van Wijngaarden (1876-1929), eerste predikant van de Vrije Gemeente te Amsterdam na de dood van haar oprichters, de gebroeders Hugenholtz. Het monument is van de hand van de beeldhouwer Nicolaas van der Kreek (1896-1967) en werd bekostigd uit een speciaal daartoe opgericht fonds.

Hoog asymmetrisch opgezet urnenmonument bestaande uit een ranke drie meter hoge achterplaat van euvillesteen die paraboolvormig eindigt en waartegen rechts van het midden een haakse en lagere plaat van hetzelfde materiaal waaruit bovenaan een sculptuur voortkomt in de vorm van een gestileerde mannenfiguur met zijn rechterhand in spreekhouding en zijn linkerhand rustend op een bijbel. Links van deze dwarsplaat en haaks op de achterplaat bevindt zich onderaan een forse urn van ruwbehakt syaniet met een halfronde voorzijde en een deksel in de vorm van een smaller afgerond blok dat gladder afgewerkt is. De achterplaat draagt in bronzen letters (ontbreken deels) de volgende opschriften: "H.G. VAN/ WIJNGAARDEN/ 1-7-1929" en lager "VOOR VROOMHEID/ IN/ PROTESTANTISME". Op de linkerzijde van de dwarsplaat staat in bronzen letters (ruim 2/5 ontbreekt) van boven naar onder "VEREENIGING/ `VRIJE GEMEENTE'/ TE AMSTERDAM/ EVANGELISCHE/ MAATSCHAPPIJ/ EN/ INTERNATIONAAL/ VERBOND TOT/ VEREENIGING EN/ BEVORDERING/ VAN HET/ PROTESTANTISME". Aan de rechterzijde wordt de dwarsplaat geflankeerd door een meer terugliggende en enigszins lagere rechthoekige dwarsplaat van syaniet.

Het grafmonument is van algemeen belang wegens cultuurhistorische waarde als karakteristiek en gaaf bewaard urnenmonument uit het tweede kwart van de twintigste eeuw op de begraafplaats Westerveld; wegens de funerair-historische en genealogische waarde; wegens het materiaalgebruik en vormgeving.
